we will be training at my house:

2 Petrie Court, South Gympie in the "Willow Grove Estate" off Sorenson Rd:

Pull into Willow Grove Rd and Drive almost to the end - on the right hand side is where I live - I will hang a few balloons up so you can't miss it.

Where is Willow Grove Rd I hear you ask:

from Brissie:

1. drive up the Bruce Highway until you hit the outskirts of Gympie
2. you'll pass a large park on your right with the information centre etc - about 1 km down the road you'll see a sign saying low bridge ahead - truck detour.
3. Take the left turn - do not go under the bridge!!! This takes you onto gympie-Brooloo Rd
4. continue on gympie-Brooloo Rd and then take the first right just before the Normanby Hill war memorial onto Power Rd (only about 300m along)
5. 150m down the road turn left onto Sorenson rd
6. at the round-a-bout turn right
7. follow the road around until you get to Willow Grove.

From Bundy:

1. Drive down the bruce Highway through Gympie
2. You'll soon come to the new Centro Shopping centre on your left.
3. Keep following the road about another 1km and you'll see a bridge.
4. go up the ramp to the left - at the top turn right onto Gympie-Brooloo Rd (then follow directions above)

From the forum:

malcolm griffin is teaching a regular systema class at the park near
central station every monday evening at 5 pm.We meet at the devonshire
exit of central station at 450 and begin at 5 in the park.Malcolm
teaches systema including his own style of striking from other combat
systems he studies combined with some muay thai-boxing concepts and
health systems like bio-energy which teaches the energetic system of
the body,call me on 0431588641,train well.

After a brief stint in Mudgee, I will be moving to Gympie on the Sunshine coast. Classes will begin there as soon as possible.

Also, on the first weekend of each month (starting in November) I will be hosting 3 - 4 hour workshops in either gympie or Noosa. Scott Schmidtt from Bundaburg will regularly be instructing/co-instructing these sessions. Due to people having to travel, costs will be minimal with my aim to simply cover the venue hire. The aim will be to spend 3 - 4 hours working over a topic which will be the focus for the following month.

I am leaving Brisbane for beautiful Mudgee NSW. So all my classes will cease at the end of June. A study group will, however, be continuing Systema here in Brisbane. As soon as I have the details they will be posted on his site.

Just not enough demand - so lunch classes will no longer be happening in an official capacity. However, if anyone wants to get together for some fun in the park, drop me line and we can happily do some FREE one-on-one or small group training.

I have to pick Kevin up from the airport so there will be no training next Wednesday. Also it is a public holiday... Andrew

THURSDAY LUNCH CLASSES AT THE YMCA!

The awesome news is that thursday lunch classes WILL be going ahead from NEXT WEEK (18/01/2007) at the City YMCA. Go to the classes page  for times and costs. If the classes go well as in 5+ regular attendees then I will start a Tuesday class as well.

it's looking very likely that classes will start at the YMCA on thursday's in the next week or two at most. I have a meeting there on Friday to finalise details etc assuming that goes well we will start classes from next Thursday. Details to follow soon. Lunch classes:

I am looking to set up a Tuesday and/or Thursday lunch time class running from 1:00 - 1:50, either both days or just the one. It would be at the City YMCA near Roma St station and easy walk into the city center. Before I go ahead and book class the sessions I need to get expressions of interest from people who would be willing to commit to regular training.

The cost will be $7 as normal. Please email me  with expressions of interet, I would hope to start in the next few weeks...
