Systema Australia Workshop:  “Knife defence”. I will be running a 2 hour Knife Defense Workshop on  Tuesday 12th December 2006. this will be held at Griffith University Aikido club go here  for map and location details. Over view:   This seminar will focus on the fundamentals of knife defence including:   Escaping an attack through movement Body movement to escape a stab Body movement to redirect a knife Trapping the knife Taking the knife “free” attacks and defence multiple attackers Other exercises time permitting.   Please bring training knives – metal or rigid plastic are the best. Official Systema knives will be available for $35 (limited numbers) they normally cost $59 including postage from Canada.
